The Bear Essentials

Come enjoy Angel Fire with all the comforts of home for your whole family. Our condo is a 3 minute drive from Angel Fire Resort. Fully furnished with Queen Bed in Master bedroom along with private master bath with double vanity separated from private toilet with shower, 2 Guest Bedrooms with Queen bed in one and Twin over Full bunk bed in other. Second bathroom also has double vanity with private toilet and shower. Comfortably sleeping 7 adults and sofa sleeper in living room for more sleeping space if needed. Kitchen is completely equipped for all your cooking needs. Stackable washer and dryer in unit for your convenience as well.

Our Condo is on Lower level with plenty of parking in front of condo with access to our unit by entrance next to garages and 1 flight of stairs.

No matter the time of year you choose to experience all the beauty and activities Angel Fire has to offer, we think you will find our condo to be your home away from home.

Wonderful place to stay for our family of 6. The place was comfortable, clean, and had all the kitchen necessities for us to make our meals. Great location by the ski resort. Open area outside for the kids to also play in the snow. We loved being there!!

Abundance of things to use to cook. Plenty of supplies. Comfy beds. Great communication with owner. Great stay. Only critique is there is a ring doorbell that wasn’t in the description. Not a huge deal just something to note.

The Bear Essentials is a great place to stay. Even though we didn’t cook during our stay, if we did, we would have had everything we needed a more. I loved all of the unique touches. We felt like we were in a real life bear den. So cute! Highly recommend.

Cozy and roomy with cabin-feel

This condo was perfect for our quick ski trip in Angel Fire! It felt like we were in a spacious cabin rather than a condo, with a roomy living space and a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook meals and even bake dessert. It’s not far from the ski resort and even though the roads were slick due to the snow, the parking lot and road leading up to the property were plowed before we left to ski for the day. We would definitely stay at the bear essentials again!

Excellent Stay!!!

This was our 1st family ski vacation and the accommodations were great!!! When we first walked in, the place was very inviting. There was a small christmas tree and it just felt like the holidays. The ski resort was just around the corner, so only a couple of minutes away. After a long day on the mountains, it was a good feeling to just chill and relax at the condo for the rest of the evening. I highly recommend!!!

Summer stay in Angel Fire

The Bear Necessities was the perfect place to stay for our family of 4. It was beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable. The weather in the summer is absolute perfection. We had the windows open and let the breeze flow through 24/7. You’ll have no worries while you’re there. And there is plenty to do. While visiting the area, we hiked Wheelers Peak, shopped in Taos, visited Cimmaron Canyon state park among other things. Our days were full of adventure. I highly recommend staying at the Bear necessities and have your own adventure in Northern New Mexico!

Perfect for our family!

Our family of 4 (2 boys 15 and 11) had a great experience. Everything we could need was there. If there is any downside, we wished there were more windows to let the fresh mountain air in!

Great stay and location!!

No half star rating with HomeAway. Overall 4.5 stars. Pros: Beautiful & cozy condo and very close to Angel Fire slope (2 mins drive or 10-15 mins walk). Check-in and out process was a brief. Condo was clean, just like pictures, and fully stocked. Minor cons, condo stated sleep for 8 but not enough beds. More comfortable for 6.

This was a great property. It is centrally located and is very close to the ski lifts and the grocery stores. The condo had everything that we needed and was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it.

Fabuous place, great location

What a great place! This is very close to the slopes and easy to get in and out. Had a great family weekend in this wonderful condo. It is well-equipped and has everything you need from a fire place, super kitchen to a master bedroom with an amazing view. The owners are fabulous and helpful. Highly recommend The Bear Essentials!
