This is a nice hotel, let down by its staff. Reception staff are terrible. No interest in the guests, no effort or offer of transport or directions on check-out, no apology for extended wait for check-in. Didn’t give me 2 keys despite me asking. Wanted to put me in an accessible room until I complained. I didn’t get the VIP offers my booking included. Avoid this property!!

I’m writing to express my disappointment with my experience upon checking into Citadines North Sydney for a 12-day stay. When I arrived, I was dismayed to find the room in an unacceptable condition. There were unwashed mugs and glasses left in the kitchen area, the entire space felt dusty and poorly cleaned, and the TV remote had flat batteries — a small but frustrating oversight. Given the length of my stay and the reputation of the Citadines brand, I had expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my first impression was far from welcoming. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the experience for future guests.

The hotel was clean, warm & the lifts worked! The bed & pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. My one gripe with cleanliness was that the dry towel folded beneath the sink unit was sodden & stained. I thought it was the sink leaking, but after close inspection it had been used, folded & put back! Luckily my travel friend had a disposable towel in her suitcase that I was able to use.

Very accessible by public transport (train and metro) from the airport. Clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included which we didn’t expect. Rates very reasonable.

I had an excellent stay at Citadines Walker North Sydney. From the moment I arrived, the service was friendly, professional, and efficient. The location is fantastic—close to transport, cafes, and everything you need, yet still peaceful and quiet. Ok, not great for first stay. Will try again tho.

I will stay again however felt let down by the service. Their propriety alarm clock/phone made little sense when it unexpectedly turned on and while managed to reduce volume, it sounded like I could here conversations from the reception and finally had to disconnect the cables in frustration in the wee hours of the night. The A/C wasn't great either after attempting to change this. When advising reception upon check out the lady at the desk simply didn't care. Told her my issue, that I had a poor night and looked straight at me, nodding and trying yes... And not breaking her smile throughout. Which is itself was impressive I guess. I could see the younger gentleman at the desk could see my frustration and attempted a sorry at the point of turning around to leave. Service at breakfast was ok... That's it. Wasn't busy but everything seemed to be an effort.

Super Convenient

We are Hilton diamond members but we found this hotel but it was cheaper and in a great location to get back and forth using public transportation and around several stores and restaurants. It was high end and just what we were looking for not having a car. If we ever come back, it'll be our 1st choice.
