Great views of ocean, convenient location, and nice complex. always have loved staying at Spanish Trace. pros: clean, spacious rooms, great location, quick walk to beach, easy check-in and responsive companycons: as other reviews have mentioned, there are no ceiling fans- especially in upper bedrooms. while the renters provide fans, they are loud, and it gets warm in the upper floor. We have stayed at a few other properties in this complex and they allhave had ceiling fans to help keep things cool. also, the kitchen dishes and silverware could use an upgrade- very mismatched with different quantities for each item. not a deal breaker but worth mentioning if we had a bigger group with us

Spanish Trace is great place for peace and tranquility. The beach is absolutely beautiful. It is also a short drive from the historic downtown. This is definitely a plus. Great host as well. Communication was clear and prompt.

Family at St. Augustin

We enjoyed our stay. Property was nice. Worked well for us. Close to the beach. You can drive on thw beach. Needed a fan to blow up the stairs to help cool that area. Had plenty of extras in condo.

Friends Getaway

Sandy Shores was a great property for our quick getaway. Right on the beach with a great pool. It was clean with plenty of supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and afternoon cocktails listening and viewing the surf from the balcony. Close to all of the historic sites and State Park. A quick uber ride to the town when we opted not to drive.

My family enjoyed our stay here! The condo had great views of the pool and ocean. The vibe was low-key and quiet during our stay. The office staff were very friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here, again.

Great sunrises!

It was perfect for our family of 3 generations! We had great sunrise views from our balcony every morning! The teens could go walk on the beach by themselves. Not a crazy busy place, but very relaxing. I was happy to see a tea kettle in addition to the coffee pot… happy tea drinker! We would come back here!

St Augustine Beach

Our condo was facing the pool and we had a view of the ocean. It was a beautiful view very quiet and relaxing. We spent 2 days at Downtown St Augustine which was a short drive away. Itrip was the company who listed the condo on VRBO. The communication from itrip was awesome. We received emails and/or texts from the time we booked until the time we departed. They offer specials on attractions tickets which we did purchased attractions tickets for downtown St Augustine thru itrip it was easy and convenient. Again the communication was great we received our tickets you could either print them or get a mobile ticket. We printed in case the attraction did not accept mobile tickets and we did mobile tickets. This is the first time we used itrip thru VRBO and will definitely look and book their rentals again thru VRBO. Thank you itrip for a wonderful time.

Great place, great location, great time

We've been to St. Augustine several times but this is our first time staying in St. Augustine Beach which is about 6 miles from the downtown historic area. The condo is right on the beach and it's beautiful. You can walk down to the beach anytime you want. Our condo had beach views and we were able to hear and see the ocean from our balcony. The condo has starter stuff for you, which we appreciated. It's very close to any kind of store if you need to buy something (Walgreens, Walmart, CVS and target are all very close). Both bedrooms are on the second floor. There's a full bath upstairs and another one downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need. We cooked a few meals during our stay. Everything was great. We highly recommend it. We also loved the Christmas decorations inside the apartment and Christmas pillows. It was a really nice touch. There were three coupons for free items, which was also very appreciated (Mayday ice cream, Cousteau's and The Hyppo). The condo was very clean and we had a great time. (This is the first time I've stayed in a place where the door code and gate code worked immediately and I didn't have to call to have them reset, so I really appreciated that).

Thanksgiving week!

We had a great stay! The location was treat! We enjoyed the lights in old St. Augustine and beach! I appreciated the Christmas decorations in the condo!
