"The hotel staff was very nice and worked hard to provide a positive experience. The breakfast was delicious and the attendant stayed on top of having fresh hot food, even with a baseball team full of teenagers staying. The older decor was charming and provided nostalgia. My only issue is that there were no sprinkler systems and as a natural consequence parts of the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke and the signs soft-pedaled the idea of no smoking being allowed."
