Great place to stay in Leesburg OH

Nice bedroom 2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom place to stay. The check in/out process was super easy and they were extremely communicative, accomodating, and flexible. Also loved all the ducks that they decorated the inside and outside of the property with.

Great place for Deer Hunting

Hosts were very friendly and full of information of the area. If you like the outdoors or love to hunt you wont be disappoint with your stay here.

Super relaxing!!

Was an absolute joy staying here. The hosts were so helpful. The backyard was somewhat of an oasis. Very well kept and relaxing. Will stay again on our next trip!!

Great Getaway

We had a great time visiting the area. House was just as it says it is. We had everything we needed during our stay. Host was responsive and made sure we had anything we needed and had list for us to some great sights and attractions. Great country location.

The property was well taking care of. Enough room for 4+ people. Mary was a nice host and gave us a lot of advice what to visit/ what is must see in that area. You can barbq. We had a nice stay!

Memorable memorial day

We had a great time at this site. We spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the fresh air & being away from the busyness of life. Mary was very responsive to our needs & questions. The mobile home was well furnished & very comfortable.

Wonderful back yard

The whole stay was great, but the back yard was the best. Lots of seating, several large shade trees, toys for the grandson. . . just so relaxing. Watching rabbits play in the yard and the lightening bugs dance in the grass as the sun was setting made this the perfect place to relax and enjoy family time.

Beautiful and Great for Outdoorsmen and Families

Myself my wife and my one year-old stayed here While in Highland County to visit my family I had parking for a large boat trailer I had everything I needed to make sure my baby was taken care of and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The air conditioning worked fantastic on the hot days and I’m confident Mary would have given us anything we asked for within reason she was very helpful.

Great country setting

Our family loved staying here - great country setting with a great view. Our teenagers loved grilling with a bonfire and playing badminton. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. The host provided in advance a list of items at the property that available for use, including cooking spices and coffee. This was really helpful as we knew what to bring with us. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

Sparkling clean and lovely country setting!

Although the location was older, it was very clean and the host had made it cozy. Almost anything you might want was there. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. There were plenty of blankets and throws to be cozy. The quiet country setting was refreshing. The host was also attentive to any concerns or needs and very easy to work with. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Amazing Sacred Indian Mounds

We had a great stay in Highland County. We went to see the sacred Indian Mounds which were spectacular. We we're there for summer solstice and actually meet Chief Glenna Wallace, Nekole Alligood, NAGPRA specialist and Alex Wesaw, Director of Indian Relations at the Serpent Mound. It's a great spot for seeing the Mounds. Our host and new friend Mary gave us some great information and helped us find some great spots to visit as well. Great hiking, kayaking and pontoon boating was also great fun!!!! Everything was lovely and peaceful ✌🏾

Unplug and unwind and refuel in the presence of nature

We came back so relaxed from our time at Mary and Jim's we could not believe it! We brought our dog with us and the extra amenities and welcome mat extended to us was impressive! The sounds of birds surrounded us and coming back from the family wedding the back twinkle lights were on the deck and it was magical. Such a clean and welcoming property. We will be back to visit friends and family again as this location is so central to all that we do in the area when we "come back home". Priced well!

Hospitality Plus

Mary and Jim offer a location so central to all that we had to do this weekend in Leesburg, Hillsboro and Wilmington. We are only sad we did not get to go to Bainbridge to the Mennonite bakery/deli and the wonderful shops there. The cleanliness and extras they offer is like walking into your home. I would highly recommend this property and we will stay again in the future. From family vacations, girls weekends to hunting trips they offer so much. If you have never been to this area you need to check it out and get it on your Bucket List!!

A perfect home away from home!!!

Highly recommend!!! Clean!! Comfortable beds! Perfect location! Close to everything but still a beautiful country setting. We were looking for a quiet relaxing weekend away with my mother, the kids and our fur baby. The house was perfect with everything (plus more) that we needed. Mary was very accommodating to say the least. We picked a weekend of rain so she let us check out later to enjoy the sunshine on our last day there. If you're looking for something to do she has you covered!

Fantastic Get A Way

My husband and I came in to visit family in Greenfield and stayed two nights. This had the most amenities of any place we have stayed in a VRBO! It was very clean and has a great feel of home away from home!! It was just the two of us - but this property could handle bedding so many more guests!! Kitchen is fully equipped with anything you may want!! Easy check in and out. Mary was in contact in a very timely manner and we did not even have to ask any questions!! We will be back!

Perfect Hunters Lodging

We originally booked a local hotel for our bowhunting trip to Ohio, but at the last minute, decided to look for something that would feel more like a home base for myself, my son, dad, and brother. We found Mary’s property and reserved it while enroute from Texas to Ohio. Upon arrival, we were glad we made the decision to forgo the hotel. The property met all of our expectations and will only get better with time, as Mary and Jim were working diligently to upgrade every aspect of the home. Mary treated us like family and was a perfect host. We look forward to coming back year after year.

Relaxing

I’ve stayed at this rental for several years before it was listed on VRBO. The owner has made numerous improvements over the last year including central air. It is a quiet serene place to stay. I love sitting under that trees and just listening to the birds. There are nice lights strung in the trees so it’s really nice to sit out in the evening. There are several lakes close by for fishing or boating and other areas if you’re interested in hiking. There’s a nice little country venue in Bainbridge that has live music periodically that’s only about 20-25 minutes away. Check out Paxton Theatre. The owner can provide more information about things to do in the area. They give you privacy but are there if you need anything. I will definitely be booking again.

Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway

This long weekend was just what we needed to reconnect! 7 busy moms who just needed some time away to relax, laugh, unwind and enjoy time together with no obligations. Perfectly located for those coming from all directions (Columbus, Cincy, Dayton), this charming country escape had everything we needed for our visit! We enjoyed sitting by the fire ring, enjoying gorgeous sunsets, the starry night sky, and fireflies by the thousands. Inside they thought to provide for every detail even down to the plush towels and soft linens. we made our way into Hillsboro to a cute coffee shop that had delicious breakfast and the BEST sour cream blueberry muffins! Quaint shops and farmers market were fun-- a perfect, easy weekend morning. Hosts were amazing and ready to accommodate anything we needed--our grocery order was waiting for us when we arrived! Grab your besties and head to the country--you won't be sorry!

Perfect Place For Us

We stayed at Mary’s home when we were in the area for a wedding. Mary rolled the red carpet out for us. She allowed us to check in early and check out late. She even child proofed the house for our babies. The house was comfortable and what we needed. The pictures are accurate for what the home is. It’s clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. It’s not new or modern but we didn’t care about that. We just wanted a clean comfortable place to stay, close to the wedding, and Mary’s home was exactly what we needed. She was very kind to us and even had extra kid stuff on hand. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room had plenty of space. Mary was very good to us. We would totally stay at her place again.

Perfect weekend getaway for hiking

This was the perfect location for us s to hike as many hiking trails in just 2 days. The owner was amazing and passed along great information with addresses included. It was so easy to find everything we were looking for. I would recommend this rental to everyone.

Get away to amazing hunting and outdoor activities

Our stay was amazing! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and bath. Hiking, fishing and hunting all within 10min. We also enjoyed grilling food on the deck. Our host Mary was great and made sure we had everything we needed for our hunting trip. Great memories were made. We will be back!
