Drawbacks on the property was not able to see the beach from the room, along with the ugliness and noise from the buildings below us. Not pleasant to sit on the balcony and hear A/C units blaring. Check in takes way too long. We were 3rd in line and waited 20 minutes

Nice resort. Great amenities amd beach access. Staff was polite. Room was nice. A few issues came up during our stay. Door would not lock when you left the room. No housekeeping to replenish towels and empty trash. Great beach access. Crab races were fun and comedian host was great. Lots of things to do for the family. Room was not really a beach view room. More like a pool/pickleball court view.

Cut our room time down even more

The main problem was that check in said 4pm. We got there at 4 and were rold the rooms were still being cleaned and would take an hour to two hours more. We pay so much for one night and i thought that was unacceptable.

Isla grand is so nice! I loved being on the first floor and walking out to the tennis court, pool or beach! I love using the game room and their pool bar. Theh have the best pina coladas! The staff is so friendly and accommodating! I love the resort feel as it makes it much more vacation vibe and relaxing

Property is nice. Only problem was check in. It was at 4pm we got there at 5:45pm and they said they didn’t have any rooms ready. 6/7 pass and nothing till my husband went to complain around 8pm for a room they finally gave us one. They Do Not compensate you any money back for the time you have to be waiting for a room! Def won’t ever stay here again!!

It’s a very nice play to stay with family. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the staff made us wait 45 min in the lobby to give us our room after they had called me to let me know the room was ready. We were at the beach waiting to check-in, and when they called us that it was ready we still waited another 30 min before heading to the lobby.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel situated on a beautiful stretch of beach on the Gulf. The rooms are nice but the common area space is spectacular. The Isla Grandi is the only place I stay on SPI!
