The Space:
Thank you for looking at our bright spacious lil' efficiency condo at Gulfview I.
It is located on the 2nd floor, there is an elevator though you are welcome to walk. 2 flights of stairs.
An efficiency condo means that the kitchen/dining flow right into the bedroom area - it is not separate. There is a nice queen bed for mom & dad, a pull out couch for the kiddos, and we do provide an extra airbed if you. have a grumpy teen coming along :) Max allowed is 5 people (yes a baby is a person!) as that is max building HOA allows - sorry. no exceptions.
Gulfview I is a very clean, well maintained condo complex with private beach access for all guests, a crystal clear/clean pool (not heated) as well as 2 heated outdoor Texas Sized jacuzzi tubs, one for family use and one adult only. The beach is about 100 yards away. Very nice seaside grill at Holiday Inn you can access as well for lunch and drinks.
One of the most popular amenities here is you can BBQ by the pool! There are half a dozen BBQ pits (bring charcoal) located by pool with a covered patio and seating/tables. Very hard to find on the Island
If it is gloomy out, there is an inside small community center where guests can chat, play cards or board games, or do puzzles or simply read to get outside.
The condo has a full sized fridge and stove, is fully equipped with pots/pans/forks/plates/etc as well as microwave. There is unfortunately no dishwasher here.
The patio has 2 chairs to watch the sunrise or sunset, and overlooks the parking lot and Schlitterbahn waterpark which is now called Beach Park SPI. it is walkable.

You can buy them in cash from security OR if you wish to use a credit card, we can pre collect this money from you and get them on your behalf. Guest Access:
Guests have full private access to the efficiency condo unit located on the second floor, which is reachable by elevator or stairs. Inside, you will find a comfortable living and sleeping area with a fully equipped kitchen. Beyond the private unit, you are welcome to enjoy the shared amenities of the Gulfview complex, including the crystal clear swimming pool, two heated outdoor jacuzzis, and the community center where you can relax, play games, or read. Guests also have access to the designated beach access point and the communal barbecue area, which features multiple pits and covered seating. Free off street parking is provided for your convenience.

You are just a short one hundred yard walk from the sandy shores, allowing you to easily spend your days soaking up the sun or swimming in the ocean. For family fun, you are conveniently situated right next door to Beach Park at South Padre Island, making it easy to enjoy a day of water slides and attractions without a long commute. When you are ready for a meal, you can stroll over to the nearby Holiday Inn for a relaxing lunch and drinks at their seaside grill. The central location provides easy access to the best of the island while offering a peaceful home base to return to after a day of adventure.
Getting Around:
Getting around South Padre Island is a breeze from our location at 120 Padre Boulevard. We offer one complimentary off street parking space for your vehicle, ensuring you have a dedicated spot during your stay. For those preferring public transit, the island offers convenient options including the Island Metro, a free shuttle service that operates throughout the area. If you need to park additional vehicles, free public parking is available at the intermodal bus station, the local post office, or along Gulf Boulevard. Please note that golf carts are considered vehicles and count toward your parking allowance.
Other Things to Note:
Check in time is 3 pm and check out time is 11 am. Please note that the primary guest must be at least 25 years of age unless prior arrangements are made with us. All guests must complete an electronic rental agreement and provide a copy of their photo identification prior to arrival. The unit accommodates a maximum of 5 people including infants. Parking is limited to one vehicle and golf carts are considered vehicles. Smoking and parties are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours are observed from 10 pm to 9 am. During March, the homeowners association requires guests between the ages of 13 and 25 to purchase wristbands. Please follow all checkout instructions including setting the thermostat to 78 degrees and taking out the trash to avoid additional cleaning fees.
