Mid November to late March, from almost anywhere on the beach you can spot a whale or two. If you fish or scuba dive, you are indeed in heaven. The Sea of Cortes is rich with marine life. The San Jose Estuary is home to many species of birds. Over 250 varities are seen here! This body of fresh water is the last fueling stop on the long migration route that many birds must travel.
