Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe

"Our room was very clean and comfortable. Huge bathroom with a great shower-perhaps one of the few hotel showers that doesn't leak all over the floor! Only negative was the barn door style bathroom door that didn't glide easily so it was very noisy.
Personally, I didn't like the mandatory valet parking. I'll pay to park if I have to, but don't take away my access to my car. Forget your sunglasses/jacket etc in your car when going for a walk? Have to get the car from the valet. This isn't a city center hotel used by car-less travelers. Also, the very nice valets making small talk kind of bugged me to answer questions of where I'm going or where I've been every time I get in my car. Ask me if I need a map or suggestions, but don't ask me if that's leftover sushi I'm carrying and where did I get it. And yes, tip every time despite the parking fee. I wish this was an optional service. Other than this which may just be my problem, it's a lovely, luxury-feel hotel, with a great complimentary breakfast and location near the historic square. "
