"I recently stayed at NH Pisa and, while it technically qualifies as a four-star hotel, it feels like it's at the very bottom end of that category. "Hotel is old a little dated but the room was clean and the area had a couple of restaurants and a supermarket about 10 minute walk . Lots of parking available. "The staff were great particularly the restaurant, pool bar and breakfast staff. Very helpful and accommodating even after being treated badly by a family on another table Parking is so easy and on the premises. Close to the beach and a Sunday market. Only a couple of things made it a 4/5 instead of a 5/5. One was the decor needs some tender loving care particularly in the bathrooms. The room as clean but cheap paintwork is chipping. The food in the restaurant was good but better in the pool side restaurant for lunch. There was not alternative to the restaurant if you just wanted something light. The other thing was the live music festival which sounded like it was next door. Even though we closed our windows it was still loud. We were not told of this beforehand or at check in. The bands sounded as though they were practicing and couldn’t carry a tune. We asked the staff about this festival which is every weekend in Summer Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 12 midnight. It would have been nice to have been told prior to our stay or at least at check in."
