Good hotel, needs some upgrades to the door sensor

Good room for the price. My room was not ready when I checked in at 5pm, but after a 30 minute wait, it was clean. Because of the homeless population, the facility locks the front door until 9:00 am and advises you to use your room key and enter through the back door. This door recognizes the key and works about 50% of the time.

The front desk woman with the red hair was awesome and really took care of us the entire time. The facility itself was clean, needs a little work on minor things such as the door functions (both interior and exterior). The area was shady but hey, its an airport hotel. Busy road right next to hotel and SUPER noisy at night. Pool and hot tub was not well taken care of. pool I can somewhat understand cause its February and no one is swimming but you could tell the hot tub has not been shocked recently or isnt treated properly. Overall though, the room was clean and the staff helped when we needed it. Would consider coming back with my expectations in check and with confirmation that the red haired front desk attendant is still working there cause her service was amazing.
