"What an incredible stay! The castle met beyond our expeditions. The little fun surprises, the endless entertainment, all the extras in the bathrooms and kitchen drawers. And then the crowns they left for the kids! That could have been my children’s Christmas present and they would have been so grateful. I hope we have the opportunity to stay here again! And Donald was also speedy on every question I asked. I never waited more than 30 min for a response. That was so appreciated. "

House setup is a little unique and noise travels since it is an older house. However it worked fine for us. We could have fit our family of six in the master bedroom "

"We had a fantastic stay at Harwelden in the Sycamore Suite. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable, even leaving a special gift for our daughter in the room. The grounds are beautiful and the house is immaculately restored. There are many common areas of the house open to all guests, from a cozy listening room downstairs to a game room on the third floor perfect for kids. I also sincerely appreciate that the hotel does not charge for every little thing, which is far too often what higher-end hotels do. Instead, everything is included, from parking to breakfast to anything stocked in the mini fridge in the room or even the wet bar on the second floor. Overall, it is a wonderful property, perfect for a special occasion."
