Relative to other similar hotels the breakfast was limited and not of high quality, but had some good items and was sufficient. Depending on which room you get they can be roomy and pleasant, or not so pleasant. We asked for a second floor room and it was very pleasant.

Hotel is in a great location with nearby parking, restaurants and shops. Breakfast had many choices and the food was exceptional. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the staff was great except for one at the front desk who was not helpful when asked about restaurants and reservations.

The room was quite small, so if you have a lot of luggage that might be a problem, but we had a lovely view of the ocean from the bedroom and even the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed the selections. The hotel is most charming. The owner is very hands-on and a delight to talk with. Bayeux is a very interesting town, and we really enjoyed walking around the town and soaking up the French atmosphere.

Had to do kind of an emergency booking with this hotel as another place to stay fell through. The place is very nice, extremely spacious by European standards and in a great location in the center of Bayeux.
