Villa Lara was exceptional in all categories above!! If you are spending time in Normandy or Bayeaux, hands down this is the only place to stay. Don’t even consider another hotel. The location is awesome. The rooms were very comfortable, updated and clean. The hotel staff especially Julian were outstanding. Even Phillip the owner went out of his way to take special care of us!! Hôtel Villa Lara exceeded all our expectations and made our 3 nights in Bayeaux wonderful!!! We had a lovely family room which was very spacious and beautiful, overlooking the garden. The bathroom had a welcomed walk-in shower. The staff was friendly and professional. Pleasant evening-turn downs with a room refresh given. Villa Lara is 1 minute walk from the Tours pick-up, the Cathedral, shops and great restaurants. Highly recommended.

Superb boutique hotel perfectly situated in heart of Bayeux. Charming, immaculate, phenomenal service and friendliness. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Perfect location as jumping off point to tour the historic D-Day sites of Normandy. Highly recommend Villa Lara.

Perfect hotel for a Normandy visit

Amazing stay. Staff is warm, friendly, kind and very helpful. Hotel is quiet, excellent breakfast, many nice touches - free, stocked refrigerator and coffees and teas to meet needs. Large room with many pillow options and extra blankets. Locates very close 30 second walk, to tours of Normandy.
