Centrally located, tucked away in a quiet courtyard. Love the charm of the floors. Very clean bed, towels and kitchen area. Nice to have washer for our stay especially with kids. Bathroom was pretty tiny with no ventilation, but excellent water pressure. Property owner was very kind, helpful and easy to get a hold of. Would recommend!

Great for a short stay

We were in Paris for a couple of days and this property was exactly as advertised. It’s a cute loft in the heart of Paris. You can walk to many different attractions in the area. Barbara greeted us upon arrival. Check in and check out went smoothly.

Disappointed and disappointed for the price.

Check in was smooth, Barbara was there to meet us. Air conditioning is advertised but the apartment does not have it. There are “air coolers” available in the room. Each cooler is to be filled with ice cubes which are to be purchased at the Monoprix, 4 blocks away, by the renter for 3 euros each. You need a minimum of 5 bags which last maybe 45 minutes. It does not cool the room. Both coolers had dirty water in them when we arrived. Two fans would have been better. Coming from the US west coast, the jet lag and the heat in the apartment made our adjustment to Paris extremely uncomfortable. The shower was incredibly small and the handle on the door was sharply broken. The door on the refrigerator didn’t close properly, items we had purchased spoiled, defrosted quickly in the heat.

Great location, but not clean

The apartment was in a beautiful, accessible location. Walking distance to the Louvre and many other local attractions. Unfortunately the bathroom, especially the shower was moldy all over and there was dust all over. The sofa bed was dusty and unkept.

We were there in September, the hottest month they ever had in Paris The apartment had no Air conditioning or fans. It only had 2 windows up high so we left them opened. We got some air but not enough to be comfortable. The location was the best part!

Great location

Awesome flat, right in the heart of Paris! Our family of five stayed at Barbara's place for 3 nights. Location was excellent - on Rue St. Honoré - a main shopping road with lots of glitzy high end stores. Apartment was set back from street through a secure gated courtyard and around a corner. There was absolutely no street noise at the apartment. Although the courtyard is shared between several store fronts / apartments, it was practically deserted our entire time there. We basically had it to ourselves and often left the front door of the apartment wide open when we were there. We walked to Louvre, Champs-Elysees, and could have easily walked to Notre Dame as well. Near tons of eateries and several metro stations are very close, accessing different lines. Barbara was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. She even let us have a later checkout to store our bags as no one was coming in right after us. Very accommodating.

Fabulous Location

We stayed here for 3 nights during our quick time in Paris. The location is fabulous. It is close to the Louvre and there are so many restaurants within walking distance and a market close by to grab food and drinks as well. Our only complaint was that we could have used a couple more bath towels, but other than that I would definitely stay here again!

Incredible experience

The unit easily takes care of 6 people. The neighborhood is one of the best in the city. The host takes care of every detail and is readily available when needed. I have never had a better experience. I wish there were more stars available for this lodging. It is a 10 star rating with a 10 star host.

Unique, quiet, safe property in great location

Spent a week here with my daughter who was taking a class. Very quiet. Great location near museums, parks, restaurants, shopping and metro. I liked that it was very secure. You had a code for the first door to get into the courtyard then a key for the apartment itself. The neighborhood seemed very safe anyway. The apartment had everything we needed including an excellent washing machine. Shower was nice too. Interesting renovation of an old space that retained much of the character. Check out the floor! The owner speaks good English and was very accessible. It was a wonderful stay.

Comfortable, convenient home away from home

For two friends it was perfect…we created our own separate bedrooms in the evening and opened during the day. Having the convenience of coffee making in the morning and a fridge for wine was very nice. It was quiet and dark for sleeping and the rue st honore was lively and fun during the day. Easy walking distance to many sites and easy metro and Uber for the rest.
