On Saturday (6/21) evening I informed the young man at the front desk that the top hinge to the bathroom door in my room was broken completely off and the room looked as though it was in need of repairs (odd patchwork in wallpaper, TV looked as though someone had successful broken part of the base in an attempt to steal, bugs were continuously appearing on the bathroom floor after several attempts to kill them and clean the floor). He took down my room number so that I wouldn’t be charged for the door hinge, but did not offer me another room. That night, a cockroach scurried across the bathroom sink. The next morning, more bugs appeared on the bathroom floor. I cleaned these bugs up for our conform after taking photos. Monday (6/23) morning more bugs appeared on the floor, along with a large cockroach, of which I’ve taken a photo of. I would like to receive a refund for my stay, as I informed hotel staff about the issue with the door and bugs but was not offered another room. To say the Travelodge by Wyndham in Palm Springs is a 3-star hotel is laughable. I’ve never stayed in a hotel so inhabitable and with staff not offering to satisfy their costumers.

I made a mistake and booked for the wrong day. I was already there on the property and no one would help. They were only interested in keeping my money. I had to check out and leave, ending my vacation. All because, well I made a mistake and they wouldn’t change a date. That’s one as to turn me off to you. I won’t be back and I’ll spread the word.
