Very roomy twin bedroom. Tricky to navigate from Nagano Station but it became easier after walking there and back a few times. Nice lobby. Staff were polite. Coffee available in the lobby was a nice touch.

This is an excellent place to stay in Nagano. It’s a short walk from Nagano Station and a short train or bus ride away to most places you’ll want to see. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the hotel is quiet, and there are laundry facilities and onsen onsite. Highly recommend!

The Nozawa Grand Hotel, Nagano, which is the closest hotel, is located 17 miles (27 kilometers) from the city center of Obuse. Also, why don't you think about the Jinpyokaku, located in Nagano, which is 7 miles (12 kilometers) away.
6 miles (10 kilometers) from central Obuse, you will come across the Issano Komichi Biyuno Yado. Alternatively, the Hotel Karuizawa 1130 is located about 20 miles (34 kilometers) away. An alternative option is to book the Shiga Park Hotel or the Aburaya Tosen.
The broader Chubu area is certainly well worth seeing too. Chubu offers beaches. Popular holiday sites are ruins and castles. Popular things to do in this part of Japan include snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing.

If you like sports and enjoy watching local games you and your family should visit Nagano Olympic Stadium, which is found 12 miles (19 kilometers) to the southwest of Obuse. Those sports fans wishing to sleep in the area surrounding the game can take their choice from the Hotel Route-Inn Court Shinonoi or the Shinshu-Matsushiro Royal Hotel.
