Hotel Metropolitan Nagano
"Right next to the JR train station, so incredibly convenient. The hotel is very nice The rooms were clean well appoint. It’s right in the middle of everything so you can just check in and explore the city without a worry. Parking is extremely convenient. This is one of the few hotels in Japan after four visits that exhibited in any sort of common sense. They have laundry in the lobby, but don’t use it unless absolutely necessary. It takes two hours, and your clothes will come out looking like I don’t know what. Breakfast looked OK, but there is a Starbucks right next-door, and even though I am a huge Japanfile and love Japanese food my family, and I always tend to start our day with a Starbucks coffee and a doughnut. Japanese breakfast are wonderful and very, but it’s just too much."

Hotel JAL City Nagano
