Once we got into the room the heating/air conditioning was not working. We were offered an upgrade for $100/night more. Otherwise a full refund and we would have to find another place to stay. Staff was rude and would not do anything else to accommodate even though they were not fully booked. The “water view” room gave us a lovely view of their septic bed.

This was just a quick stop over on a much longer road trip but a delightful stay. Kostas, at reception, was super friendly and helpful. I was excited to hear that a spa is coming in the old Lookout Inn building which I remember from childhood. Next time we come, this will be our destination, not a stopover.

I was travelling with family of four and from the location stand point the view was super nice, location gave an amazing lake view and sun set views. There was enough parking available right in front of the rooms. Accessibility was spot on. The checkin was smooth and we were given the best room in hotel with proper space for family of four, it was clean, spotless, the two queen beds plus the folding inbed in lounge was enouth to even sleep up to 6 in this room. The one full bath and an added half bath in main room was very convenient for four people sharing space. Kitchenette had proper fridge with freezer, large microwave, water kettle, coffee maker, all pans, crockery and cutlery needed for up to 6 people. The breakfast though is not fresh and warm in morning served in any common space, but they took our order from given menu and delivered very nicely packed before 9pm and with microwave in room one can easily warm it up in morning. This was actually better for us as we checked out by 5am in morning. Check out process was also very smooth with key drop box next to office room. Everything about the property made our stay even though only for one night way more cozy and comfortable. I am definitely staying here on my next trip in town. Must stay place, fully recommend.
