There was a very strong smell of cleaning product/air freshener that choked us. We had to leave the patio door open for hours and it was cold outside. There was a barking dog in the morning in a room nearby. It’s our first less than perfect review at a Comfort inn

front desk staff was rude, not accommodating because it was booked online. we wanted to change rooms to go down to first floor with a bigger bed from Q to K.. staff said we would have to pay for both rooms because we had be been there for quite some time.. it was 1 hour since check in , 4 cars in parking lot and it was a Monday, outdated , no tv, parking lot flooded, very poor surrounding area.. fence broken, parking lot terrible no close by fun, store, nothing, no coffee or bathroom in lobby, strange smell, surrounded by weirdos… poor experience to North Bay for my first time.. definitely will look for something closer to town

Good clean hotel.

The room was clean and everything about the room was fine. A couple of minor points- Breakfast was ok but the plastic cutlery was so thin the knife wouldn’t cut the waffle & the fork holding it bent in 2. Please invest in some decent cutlery for your guests. There was no decaf coffee available at breakfast.
