Parking lot is well lit and felt safe. Blackout curtains made the birght lights a non issue. Room was comfortable temperature and place looks like it had some minor renos in the last while. Somw things are still slightly dated, but this place was better than we anticipated. Only gripe is the shower curtains may need to be changed as they have an old water smell. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent sausages and scrambled eggs. The hash- browns were very undercooked. Good selection of breads. Rooms and beds were very clean and spacious. We did notice that sounds carried loudly from room next door and from hallway.

As always we specifically choose this location as it is nice quiet and close to the lake. However the room type designation in Hotels.com has changed and I didn’t get the type of room that I had reserved but the clerk was nice enough to upgrade my room to the two beds one sofa.
