Great deal and location! Minuses: wifi and noise

Good: I was able to find a very good price for a one night stay. Convenient location in Long Island City, Queens, NY. Room and bathroom very clean and new-looking. Heat and A/C easy to control. Bathroom has excellent water pressure and temperature. Pre-check-in online was super smooth, and front desk was helpful. Less good: I'm not sure whether or not the TV worked because it was so slow responding to button presses that I gave up. Wifi goes in and out, does not meet my expectations for a hotel in 2025. This hotel's construction seems to convey noise instead of dampening it - I was woken up multiple times by doors closing in the same hallway, etc. Not a good choice if you are a light sleeper, but it didn't bother me that much. Overall: a great deal in a great location, but not quite 5 stars

Location a little off path, but close to metro and easy access to both Manhattan and airports. Price was great considering breakfast was included. Because it was off the normal path, it was quieter than downtown Manhattan. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved the rooftop patio. Also the breakfast is good and n has it from 6:30 to 10:30 which was awesome 👌 and its very convenient for being in the city for the weekend.

Low quality housing

This was like staying in a hostel or a low quality dorm room. The people at the desk or cleaning people were good, but the rooms were very uncomfortable, and very unsuitable for a single woman traveling alone or a family. It might be fine for young men traveling alone that prefer low cost over comfort.

Unneccesarily difficult to check in. I didn't fill out the pre-check in link they sent (never have to do this with other hotels), then when we arrived, the receptionist had me scan a QR code to fill it out on my phone instead of just...checking me in. The form autofilled using Google Pay, which used a CC under my husband's name, so then the receptionist asked for a copy of my husband's ID to allow me to check in. He wasn't traveling with me, meanwhile I had the physical CC in my hand with my name on it. It took almost 30 min just to check in bc of jumping through these hoops. The property was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good/standard, but I will probably look elsewhere on my next trip to avoid the annoyance.
