HoJo San Marcus Texas two thumbs up!

I got to the location about 9 hours after my intended arrival, in the MIDDLE of the night, and the clerk was so kind! He even offered to help me carry my bag up the stairs since I had an upstairs room! The bed was amazingly comfy, and the shower was awesome. Even being THAT close to a major highway, the room was quiet, with the door shut, I couldn’t even hear the traffic!

Be careful of pictures,

The pictures online didn’t look like the real place. It look very unkept and dirty the outside. It had a lot of trash and old mattresses and broken furniture outside under the stairwell. Didn’t feel too safe. Table broken n the room and very very cold, Had to turn the heater up to 90 and took most of the night to warm it up,

Locked in the bathroom...

This was literally the worst experience ive ever had. Please do not stay here. I got locked in the bathroom for several hours (didnt bring my phone in the bathroom) and had to literally break my way out of there using the bar off the towel rack. Then after i checked out early (obviously) they wouldnt refund the stay, just for the days i didnt stay. I literally could've still been in there rotting for days. Now the refund isnt even posting. (could be the bank, but still). They couldve cared less about what happened to me. That was a traumatizing experience.
