Less than was sold to me.

Our first room had an over all chemical smell that smelt like it was covering up a cigarette smell. First room had no smoke detector. They did accommodate and move us. However we went to the 2nd floor and this would normally not be a problem but this hotel has NO elevator. So check in and check out was a nightmare. Also the towels are thin and useless with NO wash rags.

Needs up dated a little but the staff is good it’s pet friendly and location is great everything is within 10-12 minutes. My daughter is at Texas state with her dog traveling with me, I will most likely stay here for the next 3 years when visiting my kidz. San Marcus is a nice place with rio vista park close by dog park and pet friendly hotels bars and restaurants

Our door didn’t work properly. No elevator. The bathroom tiles were broken and loose. The shower stall was partially broken. Breakfast in morning very slim pickings. The morning staff didn’t seem very pleasant. The beds were very firm. Other than that the place wasn’t bad.

The reception area smelled bad and it was dirty. The room was put together, but there was no usb connections for the phone. They only give you 2 pillows per bed. The bathroom, wow!, it was dirty. The floor was dirty, muddy and overall dirty.

Friendly admissions clerk, clean room, beautiful clean pool, clean hallways, quiet. No coffee maker in the room. One incident, we asked for more towels before we hit the town because we were short. When we returned, the towels were in the bathroom sink with water faucet dribbling water on them. This was deliberately done by a housekeeper with a tude. I save $40 over Hilton though.

The room was clean but it does have a musty smell. I think they should probably rip out the carpets in those places and put new carpet because it is trapping an old odor. Smells like old stale cigarettes
