Hotel Karuizawa Cross
"Room is just next to public area, all hotel rooms are located on the same floor, worried about private privacy."

HOSHINOYA Karuizawa
"It started off pretty bad, but the management took care of our concerns nicely. Tip: Do not get the lower end rooms, they are awful. The higher end rooms are extraordinary. So are the grounds. But if you come at night, note the parking lot is unlit and a kilometer from the front desk."

Hotel Rosso Karuizawa
"A lovely hotel, rooms were modern and super clean and stuff were super helpful. I’m booked to return there again later in the year and the staff were excited and ran off and found me a sticker for the hotel that I could put on my suitcase."

"It is a beautiful property, walking distance from the outlet. We loved staying there in a cabin. We were told by a staff that we couldn’t check in until the official check-in time, but when I asked another staff. I was told that the room was already ready and we could check in."

"Great place to stay for a visit to Kariuzawa. Next to the train station and they will hold your bags while you explore the town, then pick up your bag and head to the train station. Very helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had in Japan- lots of local, traditional foods cooked ..."
