Beautiful Historic Hotel!

This hotel was very charming! While it is on the older side (we stayed in the historic side of the hotel) is was clean, comfortable and very charming. My mother and I had a lovely time here. It’s in a great spot downtown and walking distance to the pier and eateries.

Charming historic hotel - awesome location

Love the historic nature of the building. Lots of charm, great location right in busting area of shops and restaurants. Short walk to Fisherman's Wharf - 8mins. Only 2 negatives - Street parking is a challenge but plenty of garages nearby, and our room had no chair so only place to sit was on the bed.

Loved the hotels esthetic. The room was clean and the staff super friendly. Every one of them at the front desk. Parking was so easy to get. The only thing I was bummed about was the exercise room. If it had weights and treadmill it would have been perfect. I chose the hotel partially for that reason. The room we got was a bit noisy but that was more the guests fault. Overall would book again. Loved its location too. Walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Great customer service and we enjoyed staying in one of the historical king bedrooms. The only problem is that if your room faces the street side it's really noisy between people and the seagulls squawking very early in the morning. And the room did not have blackout shades so that was inconvenient.

Okay for a night or two

The room was loud, we could hear the people above and next to us. There was a high pitch buzzing coming from the bathroom. The windows were thin so you could hear everything happening outside. The bed was uncomfortable. It's a old hotel so it looked worn down. The staff was friendly and it was in a good location.

The "standard room" is extremely small. No desk or chair whatsoever which makes eating or doing work very hard if you dont want to get the bed dirty. Not even an Ice bucket to keep beverages cold. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was hoping to have a staycation that was very comfortable but having only the bed to sit on isnt very ideal. It feels as if im in a small bedroom and not a hotel room unfortunately.

Hi there, the front desk staff were friendly. The carpet was extremely dirty, the room wasn't clean, the light coming in from around the door was shinning on my face all night, the tv was difficult to use and the mold in the bathroom shower needs to be cleaned. The stay was not worth the money I spent.
