Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate ..."

Clayton Hotel Bristol City
"Good location, but the service during my stay was poor. I asked for extra pillows on two separate nights. The first time I was told they would be sent up and nothing came. The second time I was told 15 minutes. I waited until midnight with no delivery and no call to explain. There were no slippers ..."

"A great centrally located hotel near plenty of drinking & eating & entertainment places. Onsite parking (underground) is very secure but you do need to reserve a place. Getting there by car is rather tedious due to the one way system & pedestrianization. And there is a Clean Air Zone Charge! We got an excellent rate booking ahead of time. The reception staff were extremely efficient & polite. Very clean room with a comfy bed. Shame there was no fridge. A bit tired round the edges but for 1 night was perfectly adequate. Did not have breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment on that."
