The Manor House At Celtic Manor
"We stayed at the Manor house and it was a mixed bag for us. I’d definitely stay again but there were things they could do better. For me, the price of the parking is alarming. £25 pounds for the night when you have paid collectively 300 quid for a room and a meal for 2 for one night…. That’s bad. Parking should be free. Secondly help with bags in the Manor House would be good as there is a large stair case to carry them up. Thirdly, some breakfast staff in the olive tree and not up to the job, and they didn’t keep on top of the buffet. Focus should be on filling the buffet before clearing tables if there are already free tables for guests. We went to Pad restaurant which was ok, nice ombience but nothing special with the food. The squid was tough. While out waiter was delightful because asked flat out when requesting the bill if we want to tip or not is not on. Minor adjustments needed. Also the coffee cup I left in reception 4pm Saturday was still there at 11am Sunday."
