This place is an explicit dump. I only chose this venue due to the higher rating, and proximity to the airport. This has clearly become a short-term living rental, and not just a hotel for what I assumed for location was largely for business worker traveling rental, or small families traveling through.

First off: the staff was great. However, that is unfortunately where anything positive could be said. I won’t blame LaQuinta for the elevator REEKING like urine, because maybe some loser just decided to relieve himself prior to our getting on… however, I WILL say that elevator bucked more than an unbroken horse. The eggs and sausage were cold the one morning I dared to try it. The door into our room looked like a beast from the underworld tried to claw its way in. The door handle didn’t work correctly, just a broken lever sadly hanging there, useless and sad like a single guy on prom night. Speaking of our room… a “king” room… the pillows on the bed were tiny. Like decorative pillow tiny. Ok, the remote didn’t work correctly… not a big deal, but neither did the handle on the bathroom door, making me pray my poor wife wouldn’t accidentally walk in to the horror of me trying to take care of business sitting on a toilet made for a hobbit. Ahh yes, that bathroom. I’m not sure which was better, the mismatched tiles in the shower, the leaking bathtub or the paint peeling off the walls like the sunburned skin peeling off my shoulders after that spring break in Cancun. I’ve stayed in worse places, but not outside of third world countries. I don’t recommend.

Short stay, just needed a place to sleep between a 2 day tournament. Clean room, continental breakfast had a lot of choices, but we only had time for grab and go. Would stay again.

I was disappointed in the fact that the hotel worker didn't want to allow us to grab any breakfast(grab & go items) like muffins, milk and yogurt on our way out because we had to leave at 6:30 am for a tournament and the breakfast didn't start until 7 but these items were already out. It wasn't like we were asking for them to make eggs and waffles. Just things that were prepackaged. Otherwise the room was clean and the hotel was quiet.

The curtain was torn giving the room a very shabby feel. Something simple to fix but was evident had been that way for a while. TV wouldn't work but eventually someone came and fixed it. Bottom of the bathroom door could use some work.

The pictures online were nothing like the real building. As we walked up to the hotel there was trash all over the ground right outside the front door. The elevator seemed as if it was going to break at any moment. There was an awful smell that filled the building. The front desk worker was extremely difficult to understand. This is going in my do not stay list.

The previous guest clearly had smoked in the room and they scent bombed the room prior to my arrival to cover it up. It was so overwhelming that even with the fan running and window open, I woke up with a headache and my eyes and lungs irritated and my clothing and luggage still smell of itintensely.

Very clean room, also breakfast area and lobby. Very courteous staff. Location easy to find, easy to get off and on freeway... nice hot water in shower...price reasonable with facility and amenities comparable to more expensive places. Only negative thing was one lamp in our room didn't work, missing on/off button. Replace that and stay would have been near perfect.
