The casino was fun, I won a little for a change.
The food was good, although the timing of the open/closure of the three restaurants is screwy. You never know where you'll eat dinner. One night I had to have a sandwich for dinner-everything else was closed.
The room was nice. Though it did take the hot water at least 5 minutes to get to the sink faucet.
But what I am most upset about is checking out. I had an early appointment an hour and half away for a painful condition.I did so with ease on the TV.
When I called for the bellman, I was told they don't start till 9 am but if I come down I could have a cart (it's 8:15 am).
So, I go get the cart. It's quite heavy. I put my belongings on and push it to the elevator.
I am 72 yo, 100 lb and have my neck and most vertebra in my back fused. And I'm pushing it up and down inclines to get to the valet station to get my car.
I put my ticket in, it says my car is on the way. I wait. And wait. And wait. Now I'll never make my appointment, so I have to cancel at the last minute.
I ask a security person about the valet. There is no valet today. You have to go to security to get your car.
I wanted to scream (but I don't know how). So I drag my luggage cart to security. He hands me my car keys and tells me where it is.
Why do you people close everything??? And don't tell your guests anything about what to do??
I am very frustrated, not happy and worn out from being my own bellman.
