Breakfast was delicious and the room very clean. I really liked that there were two decent sized trash cans. Traveling with kids can really increase waste. And we were able to spend two days and not worry about overflowing the trash cans.

The staff when I check in was friendly and helpful. The issue I had was in the room. There were four separate lights in the room besides the overhead light by the bathroom. Three of four lights were burnt out. Room is decorated with dark colors to begin with. Went to the front desk and was told that they didn't have any light bulbs at all. Tried the TV next and the TV while turning on did not have a signal. Went to the front desk again, The person there did come back to the room and after messing around and trying several things figured out what was wrong and got the TV to work, The front desk person also found 2 light bulbs so I ended up with three of the 4 lights working. After the 1st day we found that the cleaning staff had taken our used towels and did not replace them at all. On day 2 they did replace what we had used including the towels from Day 1. Finally we discovered that the piece of furniture that had the TV, Microwave and Refrigerator was being supported by an actual screw jack from a car, The legs of the unit did not actual touch the ground. Someone somehow this piece of furniture was broken and they rigged this solution vs replacing what was a piece of junk with something not broken. The door frames were rusting and the wife found bugs crawling on the bed. This property is suffering from a great deal of defer maintenance and is showing its age. The owner's are not willing to spend the money necessary to keep it nice.

A bit run down. Bathtub looks like it has seen better days and the carpet could use a cleaning. Window curtains didn’t close all the way (my room was on the first floor by parking, so this did not make me happy.) Worst of all, the exterior door by the dumpsters doesn’t lock and the door to the first floor rooms was propped open. On the plus side, the towels were good and bed was comfortable.

Night one went well. Day 2 I went to work and came back to my room, I always aha e my DND on my doors. It was removed, and the maids came in made my bed, took my towel and bath mat, not my bag of trash, didn’t give me a new anything -no conditioner or anything. Went to shower, got out, water was pouring out of the vent onto my clean clothes and medications. Got dressed went to the desk- Zander was there - I told him about the maids, and we needed maintenance in my room, he came up took a video called his boss, they sent two guys in who looked at it and stuck the trash can on the sink. They changed my room- so, it’s late evening I go to my new room, the temperature gauge didn’t work on the heater-‘key saying 23 degrees. I got up today, went to the restroom, tried to flush-0 water in the back tank. I go to the desk, I said I need a proper restroom before I go to work- they told me to use the lobby one. I travel weekly for work and have for a few years now- I won’t return to this hotel, if I can find anything else in the area. The breakfast gravy was super thick in the ladle - don’t want to come out- but that was the least of my worries as you see above!
