Everything was very nice! It’s an old historical hotel, so naturally has a little wear and tear. Seems to be very well maintained. Atmosphere was great. Quite and relaxing! Definitely worth the stay!!

I made a mistake and booked for thursday night not wednesday night front desk lady one just brushed me off and said we are full you dont have a reservation. so i went to the parking lot and booked a room online for that night went back in and she was not really happy. front desk lady number 2 called me later and told me why i was not booked for wednesday and apologized that I had not been helped better by first lady. Our conference people were upset that no space was set aside for vender tables. the electric went out during breakfast the waffles were cold and water and coffee were only drink options set out during the day

The laffyette was a wonderful hotel. Clean, cozy and old fashioned yet with conveniences you would expect: great restaurants , coffee shop and roof top deck. Also its said to have friendly ghosts, however we did not experience any.

Absolutely stunning building! The food was amazing! The staff was so friendly!! I loved the historic charm of the building & I believe it to be haunted. We had our own experiences that were definitely a little funky. Flickering lights, tv cutting in & out, whispers like “stop” & “don’t”. just odd coincidences, you could say. Loved my stay! Would recommend it to anyone!!!

It was a beautiful property for its age and history (survived floods), the rooms were small but well appointed (ours had a quaint desk) and the bed was comfortable. Our only issue with the rooms was that the shower never got really hot, just warm. The breakfast was filling and cooked perfectly.

The location and history provided can't be beat. The hotel alone was filled with pictures and information. The older phones even provided an audio history. The rooms were put together well and were comfortable. The restaurant and bar were very nice. Brooke was a great help with dinner suggestions. The common bathrooms however need a good scrub. Carpets are difficult to keep clean I'm sure but they also need shampooed so that people don't think the rooms will be dirty. Overall, nice stay.
