Its always a really fun stay for my tween and her friends. Having said that, we were disappointed that they changed the hours of the waterpark. Last year it was open until 10. This year it closed at 8. Personally, i feel like 8 is too early.

Could have been better.

Overall we enjoyed our stay but there were several things we wish were better. Food options are VERY limited. Lines for food are very long as well with min signage on where to order. The wave pool was not working so just a big open pool. In each section of the waterpark was something not on or broken. There is not much to do if your kids wake up before 10am.

Castaway was great and very family friendly, in my opinion it’s a better option than kalahari if you have smaller kids. The resort and water my 10 year olds loved!! And the staff were very welcoming and kind and friendly!

Everything was great. It’s is a nice quaint area of town. It is safe and clean and the life guards at the water park are really on it and make sure your kids are safe and are super friendly as well.

not okay for certain childrens lifejackets to be okay and then telling other kids with same brand life jacket theyre not allowed to wear them …. hate to say it but for being local this was such a terrible experience for a family just trying to do something fun for their toddler
