The room was immaculate and kept that way each day by the cleaning staff. The reception staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The air conditioning was good. The hotel is positioned in a perfect place for metro; buses and theatre's.

It is an overpriced hotel. Night was USD$355. Breakfast very basic and limited, and the room quite small. The shower was very uncomfortable and there was no help with the suitcases. I stayed at the hotel The Emperador and the night was only USD$254, better breakfast, better room, better hotel and USD$100 cheaper.

Spacious, quiet room near the Gran Via

The hotel is well located steps from the Gran Via yet tucked into a quiet enough side street that it felt calm. My room was quite large for Madrid. New tile floors have been added to lobby and salon areas. Management seems to be upgrading common numerous areas.
