This was an amazing place to stay near all of that is important in Madrid. We were thrilled to be staying near all of the action. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked. The only downside was that I missed in the first communication when I booked the apartment is that you need to check in at Hostal Madrid two doors down. There is no sign for these apartments, just a door number. Another important thing to note is that there was no laundry available in the building but some are nearby. Some of the guests get pretty loud, so it may not be the best place for light-sleepers but considering where you are staying, it is par for the course.

The hotel is located at the heart of the city so the Metro, Bus and taxis are very accessible. Restaurants and stores are also walkable. The elevator is not that reliable.

The staff was tremendously nice. Our flight arrived very early in the morning. The staff let us put the luggages there, so we can explore the city hands free. On the check-out day, they also did the same thing, free of charge. Thank you so much! The room was very clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable. The drainage is slow, but it is a minor problem. The location is excellent! We can walk to many attractions. I recommend this apartment.

Awesome place near Sol

Great place. We arrived early and checked in before the time. Our room wasn't ready yet (as expected), but they kept in communication and notified me when it was ready (still a few hours before the expected time). The kids loved riding in the old school elevator. The wifi was a little spotty on the terrace, but everything else was amazing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing location. Comfy bed. Very small apartment but still two bedrooms and two bathrooms as described! Spanish TV. Safe available but you had to pay 1 euro every time you want to lock it. Very cold in the apartment - we stayed in Nov and couldn't get the heating to work. Didn't get round to asking the staff for help because we were always out. Free toiletries - shampoo, shower gel, bar or soap. Fridge and small hob - we didn't use either.

I loved staying at Apartamentos Mayor Centro. I reserved the three bedroom was easily accommodated five people. The staff was friendly and speak both English and Spanish (we spoke in Spanish). The room we stayed in had a terrace and had a great view. I there is a washer, but not a dryer, which wasn’t a problem. There is an oven, microwave and fridge. This was helpful in order to save a bit of money because we were able to go to the Supermercado and not have to eat our all the time. This hotel is located in a great location and had access to many places. It is super busy day and night, but is worth it. I would definitely recommend if staying in Madrid. Side note, this is an older building so the elevator is very small. I took the stairs a lot because it was difficult fitting everyone inside, especially with luggage, so we would have to wait turns or take the stairs.

This property is very close to Puerta del Sol where all the restaurants, fun and entertainment, and shopping is located. It is also a 5 minute walk to the Gran Via hub The apartment we had was big with 2 sleeping areas with 2 single beds and one double bed. There was a dining area with dining setting and a kitchenette for light cooking. Bathroom was sufficient and with a surprised washing machine which was really a bonus for us having been travelling for a week. We were so happy we were able to wash our clothes at last!! Being centrally located just be ready for early morning noises from shops and passerbys that can rob you with some sleep. Other than that this property is excellent value for money.
