Teenager/Elderly friendly

Hotel was excellent and will stay again if travelling to again. Travelled with my elderly Mom and teenage daughter. Staff was very friendly as well. If must say anything negative it be the breakfast wasn't always the best or waffle maker working. But for the price it was above and beyond expectations.

Have to pay $100 deposit in case anything comes up missing or smoke in the room ask for housekeeping first 2 days was told okay by front desk got back and no housekeeping ask why when I got back on the second day they said if y'all want trash bags I can give get given trash bags if I want towels I can be given towels I said no I asked your housekeeping because I want my room cleaned pretty much came down to I can clean my own room so if I'm cleaning my own room how are the keeping track if anything's coming up missing I hope I get my deposit pool area was badly ventilated so bad you couldn't breathe when I walked in the room three lights didn't work there was dead cockroaches by the microwave the microwave and the front the placards that are in their all covered in oily the inside of the microwave was dirty there was Cheetos and food and trash all over the floor in the bedroom area and in the bathroom there's nicotine stains in the bathroom and a hole in the curtain the only good thing about this hotel is Ray at the front desk why do you pay the price to stay in a hotel if you got to clean your own room I really hope they give me my deposit otherwise I might get a lawyer

The staff was very freindly and professional. The bed sheets and mattress appeared to be clean and fresh. That was about it. We got 2 rooms and one of the pull out beds had gummy bears stuck to the cover. There were water and sticky circles on the counters like a spilled juice, coffee, or drink from a cup just sat. Tells me they dont wipe the counters. The room smelled of stagnant water like it was leaking or spilled was not dried or aired out. The breakfast bar had ants crawling around, so we passed. Do not recommend.

Upon arrival, my husband ran in to check us in and came back to the car to let me know they needed my ID. Walking in myself, I notice a funky smell in the waiting area. I walked up to the desk and the woman there looked at me, no greeting and didn’t say a word, but I proceeded to hand her my ID and then she asked my my credit card. She handed us our room key, but didn’t even tell us anything about the hotel or where our room was. After figuring it out ourselves, we get upstairs and on the hallway wall, there are spill stains. The room seemed fine, but we found a hair clip on the floor by the bed, so clearly they don’t clean thoroughly. Breakfast was okay, but didn’t have any eggs, meat, and the cereal was stale. Another time we were in the waiting area and a guy was on his phone when we approached asking for towels. We were going to be staying there again for the trip back to our house, but we were going to be late for check in, so we wanted to call early to let them know. After multiple calls over the span of a few hours, no one answered. We went ahead with just skipping staying there altogether and beelining it home. Mind you, it was another 5 hours back to our place and I would have rather done that then stay there again. I don’t understand the good reviews either. My standards are reasonable but I expected much better.

It was close to The Ark Encounter. It had a poor lmited continental breakfast. Next to the motel was an excellent Mexican restaurant, El Jalisco. The food was fabulous with so much to eat for a reasonable price.

The hotel is rundown and dirty. I use the “Book a room tonight” feature on the Expedia app only to realize that tonight was actually tomorrow night because it was slightly after midnight. This resulted in a nonrefundable hotel purchase that the clerk at the hotel said would be refunded without any problem at all, but they would have to hear from Expedia. Expedia claims they’ve contacted the hotel. I personally contacted the hotel twice who says they have not either way both parties are wrong. I should’ve been issue a refund. I made an algorithm error using their application and there’s no doubt in my mind. it was set up that way to take advantage of people traveling at night. Abhorrent service seems to be the norm and Expedia is no exception. I’ll never go to the crappy hotel again ever wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for the app anyway and I’ll never use the app again. These thieves can kiss my A55.

Charged $100 extra because “the blankets were dirty”. Aren’t you supposed to wash them anyways? Extremely rude when I called to dispute. The blankets were dirty when we got there. Couldn’t enjoy breakfast due to the front desk lady yelling on the phone the whole time. Probably at another disgruntled guest. Very dissatisfied and won’t ever choose quality inns again unless this is rectified
