The pool was closed for maintenance and one of the hallway bathrooms was out of order. The toilet in our room didn't refill for around 30 minutes. The coffee pot was next to the toilet with no electrical outlet. Our room had a lamp in the corner but there was no outlet for it. Breakfast was ok, I had biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were very dense.

The room smelled like paint, the trash cans were filty, paint was peeling in the shower, there was hair stuck to the side of the shower, there was food under the mattress, there were disposable hangers left behind from other guests, and the bathroom exhaust fan made horrendous squealing noises. If the entire city hadn't been booked I likely would have left.

Dirty, dirty hotel

The first thing we saw when walking in was a roach on the AC unit….and on the headboard of the bed. Then none of the surfaces looked to have been cleaned prior to our arrival. There was sticky stuff on the tables, on the dresser, on the floors…there were streaks of who knows what on the walls by the bed and in the bathroom. The couch had white spots on it…stains or just not cleaned, not sure. The remotes had no batteries. The guy at the desk was nice, and gave us some when asked, but they were the wrong size. The bed was comfortable, that’s the only positive I could give. The orange juice was like syrup, and the rest of the breakfast was disappointing to say the least. I hardly ever leave bad reviews, but this place was not it…at all. We felt dirty staying there and like we may pack home roaches with us. If it hadn’t been so late when we got there, we would have asked for a refund and went elsewhere.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean and big. My only complaint with the room was the bathtub did not drain properly. So once you started showering it wouldn't take long before the water was up to your ankles. The free breakfast was alright. A few beverage options, cereal, biscuits with gravy, waffle maker, yogurt, and make your own oatmeal. Nothing super fancy, but it is free. Pool was eh. Warm and kind of small. Overall not a bad place to stay and i would stay again.
