"Great location within Sequoia National Park with easy access to most trails for viewing the sequoia trees. A great little bar and dining room with above average food. A bonus was the dark sky festival, which we were unaware at the time of booking. And was a great experience. The only drawback were the steps to the cabin area that were uneven and slopping, making it somewhat difficult to climb."

"Stony Creek is a charming small lodge located in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest. It is an older facility but is well maintained and clean. The staff was excellent and attentive to our needs. Though there is a short drive to the main sights in Sequoia National Park, it is away from the crowds and is more affordable than other options in the area. Free breakfast included! We enjoyed our stay there very much!"

"Montecito Lodge is a peaceful, rustic stay near Kings Canyon. The location is beautiful, staff are friendly, and meals are hearty. Rooms are simple but clean—don’t expect luxury, but it’s perfect if you want comfort and nature in one place."
