I went to the beach to get some long-overdue rest, but I ended up staying awake the entire night. My husband and I couldn’t sleep a wink because of the constant sound of dripping water right outside the window of Room. At 1:30 AM, I went down to the lobby and complained to the elderly lady at the reception, telling her that the dripping noise was keeping us awake. To my absolute disbelief and frustration, she simply replied that out of the three rooms available in this motel, ours happened to be one of them. Her casual response made me so furious that I felt I was entirely entitled to a full refund. Even now, the memory of that dripping sound is so vivid that it is still causing me stress.

The room with the king bed was very spacious. We also enjoyed the empty space with the mirror vs having furniture filling it up. We liked that there was a hide a bed in case we had 4 people (2 kids) for a future visit. The fire place was very cozy, and I was pleasantly surprised that there was pump hand soap and lotion mounted to the wall at the bathroom sink which is much cleaner and nicer than messy bar soap all over the counter and getting stuck on rings. We did NOT like the cable channels that all said no information, so you just had to guess what was on each channel and go through each one. That was time costuming and not a highlight. We loved the hot tub and pool area, but absolutely did NOT enjoy or like the fact that there was an open window right near the hot tub, that would not close, and the entire time there were guests or whoever out there smoking and the cigarette smoke/scent came inside the pool and hot tub area. That should not be a designated smoking area and/or the window needs to be fixed so it will close. I tired to close it, it did not move. Breakfast was pretty good, and it was a cute breakfast area too. I liked the large ice and water machine as well, very convenient for guests with water bottles. The Staff were friendly and helpful.

Clean. Holiday Inn Value. Walking distance to Casino and Mcminnamins if you’re there for a concert. Slight incline on walk back if your not able to walk far, but it convenient walking distance for most. Continental Breakfast not great, but seems if your guests with children it would be fine, quick, convenient. It didn’t look appetizing to us so we didn’t eat the free bfast. Self Parking easy, plentiful, and great that it is free. No complaints for what we needed to attend a casino concert for the night.

One bed had blood spots on the bedding, which was gross and should have been caught before check-in. The walls were also very thin, and I could clearly hear crying, loud thumping, and almost everything happening in the rooms next door. The biggest problem was the thin white blinds with no blackout curtains. The outside hotel lights shined into the room all night and made it hard to sleep. I’ll be staying somewhere else next time I’m in town.
