Came with spouse and 3 y.o. grandson. The property and the Caboose were enchanting. It was peaceful and perfect for downshifting from city life for the weekend. We were able to make blueberry pancakes in the oversize electric skillet which was really handy. Getting to feed the goats and donkey, and hoodie weather with a fire and full moon, really put this weekend adventure over the top!

We absolutely loved this unique stay! Who would have thought staying in a caboose could be so cool?! We made it a tradition (2nd year running!) to come to the bourbon trail once a year for 1 night but to not stay in a hotel. This one will be hard to top. Everything was perfect. The animals, the location, all the details in the caboose, the patio...you thought of everything. We loved it!! Thanks for a great stay!!

Mother-Daughter trip for my mom’s 70th, she loved it! Wish we could have spent more time on the farm but due to a delayed flight arriving we didn’t get in until late. Caboose was exactly as listed and pictured, the hosts really did a great job renovating. Highly recommended!

Located on a beautiful farm with rolling hills, the caboose was a fantastic and historic spin on a tiny home. Close enough to everything but so peaceful and quiet. My only wish after staying there was that I stayed longer. Will be back again for sure!!!! We also loved the animals, firepit/gazebo, and the Kentucky blue stone walls.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. It was such an experience to be able to stay in a train caboose. For being something with a small space, which it is because it is a train caboose it was totally.ly comfortable for my family of four and it had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts really thought of EVERYTHING, from the inside to the outside, everything was there. We enjoyed the fire pit to roast marshmallows over, and the grill for dinner one night. My kids loved the open area to just run around and play outside and we got to feed the animals. It was truly a great time and we look forward to coming back. The hosts were very attentive and responsive, they deserve 5 golden stars all around! You guys did/do an amazing job hosting, thank you.

Best VRBO Ever

We would give this place 50 stars if we could, best VRBO experience ever. We booked an adventure on Rail Explorers and were delighted to find this option so close (an easy 20 min drive). Every detail was so well done and thoughtful. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, and maintained. It was relaxing and peaceful, we loved watching the farm animals and playing games on the patio. We just left this morning and our boys (7 and 10) are begging to return! What a cool place!!

A Young Conductor's Dream House

Our son is a huge train fan since he was little. His dream is to one day be a conductor. This Caboose was transformed into a young at heart paradise. My husband wasn't a fan of the bathroom with little lighting but it didn't bother the rest of us. Very comfy beds. There were friendly cats and animals to see. Wish we had more time to stay.

Fun little place

Loved staying at the Caboose with our family. We have 2 17 year olds, and they were perfectly comfortable in the Murphy beds. We also found a great restaurant in town. It was a fun experience in "tiny house living"!

Enjoyable Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Our kids were so excited to stay in a real train. We loved the outdoor area where we grilled dinner, had a fire, enjoyed the sunset, and visited with the animals. The beds were so comfortable. Kim and Ryan communicated very well ahead of time. They were also available to help us when we needed a lighter. We would definitely love to come back with our kids again or just as a couple when we do the bourbon trail.
