Bienvenido a Hawaiian Breeze House

¡Tu propio acre privado! ¡Sabemos que esta casa es fabulosa! ¡Estuvimos de vacaciones en esta isla durante diez años antes de encontrarla y supimos que habíamos encontrado el lugar perfecto para nosotros!

Siendo nosotros mismos viajeros, odiamos las tarifas ocultas. Nunca cobramos por huéspedes adicionales.

Diseñada para una vida tropical óptima, esta casa cuenta con bóvedas ventiladas para liberar el aire cálido y ascendente, ventiladores de techo y dos juegos de puertas francesas que se abren durante el calor del día para permitir que soplen los vientos alisios. Hay tres dormitorios, dos baños, una cocina totalmente equipada y un amplio porche envolvente con vida al aire libre, comida, un columpio con vista a la jungla e incluso una cama plegable para su disfrute.

Esta casa cuenta con todos los electrodomésticos nuevos, muebles, alfombras, colchones nuevos con cubierta tipo almohada y todas las comodidades del hogar sentado en un exuberante acre de hierba verde con árboles de aguacate y palmas reales que soplan en la brisa. ¡Mucha privacidad y muchas aventuras cerca!

Ubicado convenientemente entre Hilo, Volcano y el pequeño pueblo artístico de Pahoa, hay muchas cosas emocionantes que hacer. Cosas que nunca extrañamos; nadar en el Carl Smith Beach Park (nadar en una laguna de fondo blanco de arena y tomar el sol en un entorno cubierto de hierba), disfrutar de los productos frescos, joyas y baratijas en los mercados de agricultores (en Maku'u a 5 minutos y en otro en Hilo), visitando el Parque Nacional Volcán (verifique con anticipación para ver si la lava fluye), comer en los encantadores restaurantes de Pahoa y sumergirse en la cultura local los miércoles por la noche en el mercado del tío Roberts Kalapana (¡un gran lugar para cenar, escuchar música, tomar un cóctel y ver a los lugareños bailar el hula!) ¡Te dejaremos una carpeta con todas nuestras cosas favoritas para hacer y cómo llegar allí! Merrie Monarch Vacation Stay

The Hawaiian Breeze house is located in Makuʻu and not in Keaʻau as listed. Washer machine not working put a crimp in our stay having to go to a public laundromat. Otherwise Itʻs a beautiful home.

Perfect Hawaiian Vacation

This home was perfect in every way for our vacation. The washing machine being down was a bit of an inconvenience, but the hosts communicated the problem and we understand that things like this happen. The home was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and everything you dream of when you think of a Hawaiian vacation home. Thank you!We had the time of our lives.

Hawaiian Jungle Paradise

We loved staying at the Hawaiian Breeze House! The property feels very secluded but we enjoyed being 5-10 minutes from a grocery store and 15-20 minutes to Hilo. After being around the touristy crowds, it was wonderful to go “home” to a quiet house. Be prepared to enjoy lots of wildlife here (chickens, crowing roosters, geckos, pigs, even a cockroach or two). It was easy to cool the house down at night by opening the windows and turning on the fans as needed. The mornings were equally as pleasant with the French doors open and a gentle rain falling. We adored the large deck and especially the bed swing (a cup of coffee and listening to the birds in the morning while swinging is my version of heaven). The house was well stocked with everything we needed (but a few extra towels would be appreciated). I would suggest investing in a different table for the dining nook that has more than 2 chairs. The only thing that was disappointing for us was that the washing machine was broken and we couldn’t do laundry during our stay. Having a washer and dryer was actually a large part of why we chose the house, so a few extra shirts needed to be purchased to get us by. A heads up on that would have been helpful. Also, please update the wording in the instructions regarding trash day and that the outdoor trashcans do not need to be taken to the road for pickup. Overall, we loved our time here and will always cherish the memories we made as a family in Hawaii.

Had a good time with my family in this vacation house

I recently stayed at this house and enjoyed my time there. The property is set among lush greenery with a calm and relaxing environment. I especially loved the hammock and swing chair—they were great for lounging outdoors.The nearest shopping area in Hilo is about a 25-minute drive away, so plan ahead if you need supplies. The house features two bedrooms and an extra bed in the living room, which is separated by curtains. This arrangement worked for us, but it's something to consider if you're traveling with a larger group.The host was very responsive to our questions, making our stay more comfortable.

Perfect vacation home!

Nice house with a great porch

This is clearly a house someone put time into setting up, not just a rental. The spaces are great and comfortable, the kitchen we'll equipped, and the porch was wonderful to hang out on. It's very private and mostly you just see trees from the property. There isn't AC but there are fans all over and the house gets a nice breeze.

Great!

We stayed here for a few days after staying at a resort in Kona. It was great! The house was well kept and was very breezy! Only downside was no ac unit or dehumidifier so it was very hard to cool down in the evenings. We loved all the animals we saw!!

A great stay at a fantastic place!

Paradise! A well matianed home, great communication with the host, in the perfect setting. Hawaiian Paradise Park is a great neighborhood close to many things to do and see on the Hilo side of the island.

Charming Retreat on the Big Island

Our stay at the Hawaiian Breeze House was a one of a kind experience! The home is beautiful and unique, almost like a treehouse nestled among lovely landscapes. The seclusion offered a perfect escape, and we were able to stargaze at night. The funny animals, especially the chickens and roosters that wandered through, added a charming touch. While there's no A/C and it did get pretty hot, the fans and open windows at night helped cool things down. We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!

Hawaiian getaway

An awesome stay at this Hawaiian getaway at my aunts vacation home! Very glad we made the trip. So many adventures and memories made. The house is so nice and has everything you need. The main bedroom has a king size bed which was a plus. I was warned about the frogs and critters at night, but I slept with white noise and they didn't bother us at all. Highlights were swimming at Carl Smith Beach, Kula Shave Ice, Lava Thai, Volcanoes national Park, and Maku'u farmers market! We will most definitely be back ;) and I can't wait!

Nice house.

The house worked well. A nice base for exploring Hilo side of island. We particularly like the large porch. We enjoyed watching the feral chickens in the yard and hearing the sounds of nature in the evening. The roosters do crow very early but we went to bed early so it didn't bother us.

Great place

Planned a trip to surprise my brother his wife and new born.. After doing stuff all day we would all come back and hang out on the lanai.. Easy to find and nice and quiet. I would defiantly stay again

Beautiful jungle hideaway

This place lives up to the pictures. Nice space with everything we needed, good kitchen, laundry, stable internet, three rooms. It's in the Hilo jungle so you'll hear chirping frogs at night and roosters in the morning. I loved sitting out on the porch to enjoy the ambiance. If you like the wet Hilo side, this place is amazing. Don't forget to check out the Maku'u farmer's market on Sunday!

Beautiful Home to enjoy the East side of Hawaii

My family really enjoyed the stay in this beautiful home. We had a bit of a rough first night, but Trena (the host) ensured that we felt at home. The kids enjoyed the huge garden and would love to come back.

Hawaiian Breeze

We enjoyed our time at Hawaiian Breeze, eating on the veranda, swinging on the porch swing as we listened to the many birds sing. The proximity to the National Park and to Hilo were ideal. We also enjoyed the cliffs down the beach road and watching the waves crash. The house itself had everything we needed and we especially appreciated having a washer and dryer available to us. The kitchen was well appointed with all of the pans, and dishes we needed. We definitely recommend the property for larger groups as well. Mahalo

Awesome Hawaiian Retreat

My wife and grandkids stayed at the Hawaiian Breeze House and all of us loved it. The property is large and well landscaped and when we were home the kids had a great time playing in the yard. Unprompted, they told us how much they loved the house and yard, so that shoes that it is special. We had a mix of great weather as well as a full day of torrential downpour (15 inches of rain!) and even the rain was enjoyed by all. We had a couple of times we needed to contact the host (non-major issues) and she was easy to reach, a good resource and excellent to deal with. We would return to the Hawaiian Breeze House in a heartbeat.

Paradise within Paradise

The Doughty book pokes fun at the “Paradise” neighborhood, but this place creates sense of seclusion. Surrounded by jungle, you can hear coqui and birds (as well as the neighboring chickens). It’s easy to get to Hilo as well as Volcano from here, and it’s also a pleasant place to just hang out.
