"Overall I would recommend to anyone. However, some objective criticism is warranted in a few areas. First, I booked deluxe house room which was to be bigger and have a view. When we got there I got a room with very small windows, and a view of a building across the street. I was also atop a very loud jazz bar. They informed it would stop at 10:40 PM. Again, I booked this hotel and this room for optimum quiet…so we had to move. Some of the booking may be an Expedia problem. Recommend that you don’t pay for any room upgrade, because none of what we got resembled what we saw online. Take the standard and deal once on site. When we got to new room, the coffee machine never worked. I did all the usual things and finally informed. They sent an employee who the same things and it ultimately worked. However, to make a cup of Nespresso should not require holding down buttons while unplugging and plugging back in the machine. Just replace it already! The second room was a full handicap bathroom. So we had to soak our whole bathroom with each other. And the shower head needed fixing. Employees are all very nice. English for a few is limited, but since I don’t speak any Turkish I really appreciated them all. Overall, would recommend but again some info about condition and room type is warranted."

"Really beautiful hotel and nicely located. Highly recommend for those purposes. Just a note that there was really no warmth or welcoming atmosphere from the staff, which was a shame and not how the rest of the city is. Especially around breakfast / lobby. Would love to see more interaction, recommendations, maybe friendliness. Some people didn’t even knowledge us in the hallways / lobby. Not really a big deal but also a shame since this property has the potential to be best in class. Other than that, no major complaints :) I would recommend adding more hooks in the bathrooms as there was really no place to even place more than one towel but again - minor."

"Excellent hotel with quite friendly and helpful staff. Our room was good with confortable bed and spacious bathroom. Well kept. Breakfast was quite an experience with many traditional western breakfast staples and great local delicacies. The park across the street is amazing and walking to the Ciragan palace is easy. By the way make sure that whomever is driving you are clear that they are going to the Ciragan Bosphorus and not to the Ciragan palace. Nice coffees and restaurants in walkable distance. Area has a lot of young people since a couple of universities are in the neighborhood."
