My family overall had a nice stay here at Hale Kai. The view of the ocean and access to swimming in the lagoons were a plus. We had very nice weather which added a bonus to our trip. we enjoyed the use of the hot tub, sauna, steam room but never used the lovely pools. We were greeted by a friendly girl from grand welcome when we arrived and that was really nice that they helped take our stuff up to the room so that check in was a breeze. The cleaning of the condo could have been better. I had to call and tell management that two of the tiled showers smelled like fish and mold! They did offer to come out the next day and check them but I ended up cleaning them with dish detergent myself since we wanted to use them that night! The kitchen utensils were stocked but you could use more water glasses, dish towels and sharper knives. It was great to have the wagon to pull all of our beach stuff down to the lagoons! They also had a few boogie boards (One was broken ) 4 beach chairs, snorkel masks etc which was really nice! The air conditioning worked great but at night it got a little chilly and our master bedroom had only a sheet on it which was odd not to have a comforter. I did find an old light blanket in the closet though. Overall it was a wonderful stay here and the hosts of Grand Welcome were very prompt and friendly when answering my questions.
