My room was very clean. The staff was excellent. Unfortunately this time I did not have breakfast. The parking was excellent in the centre of oban ,For Oban it was a bonus free..parking.

My husband was locked in the bathroom due to a faulty door lock and had to be freed by staff. I also reported a wall light fitting hanging loosely from the bedroom wall. Very worrying lack of maintenance and safety checks.

"The Great Western Hotel is now returning to "great"in every way. Really enjoyed my recent stay. You will not find a better location than this centre piece of Oban bay. Good choice of food and drink served in a nice friendly atmosphere. The staff are also a real asset of this hotel and it is plain to see that the ownership and management are now determined to continuously improve and look after this great hotel.
