"Our Host was the best communicator in 10 years of using VRBO. We had two issues. The back sliding door to the condo would not lock. First night it was a little concerning but we gradually felt comfortable. Secondly, the bedroom window is in the front of the condo, and right next to the out door lights for three other entrances. Those four lights were so bright when trying to fall asleep, it was like there was a train engine headlight parked in front of our window. . Primarily a design flaw, but could be fixed with dark drapes , or custom shades. We also didn’t like getting shut out from the amenities offered by South Seas, the resort community that owns the tip of Sanibel Island. . This condo is mutually exclusive with the them. Only way around that is to rent directly through them. We ate all our meals out so we never used the kitchen. As a 50 year expert on renting vacation homes, and having rented from Hawaii to Krakow, Poland, this place is right in the middle of my personal grading system. "This was one of our favorite VRBO stays for multiple reasons, beginning with our host. Her communication e-mails made the check-in process seamless. We very much appreciated her welcome e-mail giving us an overview of activities, grocery shopping and restaurants available on Captiva and neighboring Ft. Myers Beach. The property was easy to get to and the unit was stunning! From the moment we opened the door, we began to relax and enjoy our beach vacation. The property was a high end luxury beach condo with spectacular views of the pool and beach. Sitting on the balcony at night, we were able to experience a glorious sunset watching the sun recede into the ocean. The condo was immaculate with every possible amenity thoughtfully provided. The unit was decorated in a high end tasteful beach decor which added to the ambiance. The furniture was modern and extremely comfortable. The luxurious bedding and linens allowed for a very deep sleep. We also appreciated that since the beach villa was inside South Seas Plantation, it was in a gated community. This property was the perfect place to enjoy the magic that is unique to Sanibel and Captiva. We can’t wait to return and hope this unit is available when we do!"

"Loved it all! The condo was located exactly as I had hoped. The beach was very close and even a Starbucks within walking distance. The Osprey out side the lanai. Pelicans, Dolphins, and lots of other birds. Wonderful! "
