There isn't a broad range of places to stay that are less than 6 miles (10 kilometers) from Imabari's center. We recommend that you book well ahead if you are thinking of staying close to the action.
If you and your family want to book a hotel not far from the downtown area of Imabari, the Imabari Kokusai Hotel is a good Travelocity-listed hotel.
The Hotel Okudogo is situated 19 miles (30 kilometers) from the main part of Imabari. Also, the Hotel Fine Garden Matsuyama - Adults Only is 20 miles (36 kilometers) away. Alternate places to stay include the Hotel Mielparque Matsuyama and the Hotel Route-Inn Saijo.
If you have time, you could discover the other scenic and cultural delights of Shikoku. Shikoku boasts rural landscapes, and common tourist sites are castles, traditional villages and old towns. Tireless visitors can also take part in mountain climbing, hiking and cycling in the region.
19 miles (30 kilometers) away from Imabari, you can reach Matsuyama, which is where you can visit Matsuyama Castle and Across Shigenobu. If you'd like to spend a few nights in Matsuyama, check out the Hotel JAL City Matsuyama and Matsuyama Tokyu REI Hotel. For another option, stay in Sakaide, 55 miles (86 kilometers) east of Imabari, where you can pick from the Hotel Route-Inn Sakaidekita Inter and Kyukamura Sanuki-Goshikidai. During your time in Sakaide, make your way to the Tsuzumioka Shrine and Koshointenno-ji Temple.
When watching stadium sport is never far from your mind, don't overlook a trip to Hiroshima Municipal Stadium, situated 35 miles (58 kilometers) to the northwest of Imabari.
