Awesome get away!
It was in a bit of a run down neighborhood, but I felt safe and his property was nice! He is a great communicator! We had everything we needed for making food.

Cottage that Hit the Mark
We were in town for our son's archery tournament. We were NOT familiar with Hot Springs at all and to be honest, we were a little taken aback by the neighborhood (because it was dark) when we arrived. However, it was quiet and nobody bothered us while we were there. The cottage is clean, easy and perfect for what we needed. Plus, I am an older Mom, so the little nods to a time gone by (the cabinets, the nooks, and cedar closets) were adorable and I was glad they left them. However, there are plenty of updates for the person who likes newer things. The nest thermostat, the ring camera doorbell, and the keyless entry were super nice. We loved our visit and the amenities at the cottage were a welcome reprieve when we were done running all over Hot Springs taking in all the sights and doing all the things. We got to watch a movie on the big screen, eat popcorn and snuggle on the couch with fuzzy blankets. Thank You for opening your home up to us and allowing us such a affordable accommodations.

Close to downtown
Pleasant, clean and quiet. It was close to the convention center without the traffic. My only suggestion is for the doors to be more secure. As a mom and daughter traveling alone, I did not feel that the sturdiness of the doors and single locks were sufficient. We enjoyed our stay.

Exactly as depicted.
We made the short trip from NLR to stay at Brandon's place for a surprise birthday weekend getaway for my wife. We just wanted a place to lay our head because the majority of our time was going to be spent at local establishments, including Oaklawn where the listing is less than 2 miles away. The VRBO was exactly as listed and while it lacked some "bells and whistles", you couldn't beat the price. The recent urgrades were very nice. The only complaints would be the narrow driveway/carport and the sun rising up early through the bedroom blinds/curtains. Having said all that, Brandon was a terrific host and we would definitely stay again as you couldn't beat the price and overall value.
