Requested an accessible room due to the fact I am recovering from an ankle injury and am on crutches. I was told this was no problem, but arrived to find a non-accessible room which included a bathroom with a large step which was clearly unsuitable for someone using crutches. The reception staff barely looked up when I came in despite clearly struggling to walk. The room didn’t have menus for the restaurant and the TVs only offered limited digital channels with no apps built in. Again, when sitting down to eat barely any attention was paid by the staff. At the price point of £140 for one night you would expect a premium experience but this was scarcely better than a hotel half its price.

Had a good experience in our four nights here and would happily stay here again. Room was small but clean, lots of hot water and good shower in morning. Very close to lively Sauchiehall Street, with many restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and stores. Easy and pleasant walk to city centre, with Buchanan Street shopping mall, city centre, concert hall, etc. Light sleepers might consider ear plugs. Seagulls sometimes woke me up at night. There are lots of them in Glasgow! Staff here was pleasant and helpful. Nearby Hengler's Circus Pub on Sauchiehall is a pleasant and cheap place for breakfast, with nice window seats for watching people go by. Order and pay at the bar and then a server brings your food.

The staff weren’t very friendly on arrival and seemed bothered at times. As for the room it was fairly clean the bed was comfy. However, the towels had hair all over them and were stained.
