This hotel looks a little sketchy from the outside and inside. And probably overpriced for a hotel compared with others at a similar level

The hotel is conveniently located near many food places and bus stops. The main desk staff are helpful and made the check-in and checkout very quick and easy which I was pleased with for checking into a hotel myself for the first time. The rooms are very clean upon arrival and spacious. The beds and sofa is comfortable and I slept well during my overnight stay. The only downside is breakfast options are quite limited as most of the items were previously frozen and the dining space is rather small for the amount of people who were staying there at the time. Overall Argyll Plaza is a comfortable and affordable place to stay and offers a great value. For short trips, I would stay here again.

Older property and not fancy, but clean and comfortable, and all staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The bed linens were clean and fresh, and the newly renovated bathroom was nice. Window AC blasted nice cold air on a humid rainy weekend. Solid spot with good value, but not for folks expecting a boutique spot

The staff were great, helpfull and friendly. This is a very old hotel and it is showing it's age. It's very clean, just needs a coat of paint and some minor repairs and maybe a few upgrades, like the air conditioning and windows. The price was really good.

Property was centrally located for what we needed. Beds, carpet and bathroom was updated, but rest of furniture was dated and worn. Staff was amazing and friendly. Breakfast was well stocked
