Hotel lovely but pool area very dirty

Room was clean and the bedding was luxurious. Would stay in the hotel again. Spa was very disappointing. Pool was clean. However the changing rooms were filthy and the gym was disguising. Staff seemed disinterested on the reception. No where to lock items away unless you want to spend €6 on a pad lock.

Excellent stay. Within walking distance a mall and buss station. The only thing I encountered an issue with was with the hair dryer. Didn’t put out heat and housekeeping was informed and I had to ask twice for a replacement and didn’t come until the day I was leaving. Very disappointed.

When we booked a weekend away for my son’s birthday we had no idea that there was an NFL game that same weekend, so we were limited for choice and price. The hotel seemed a reasonable option but in hindsight all prices in Dublin were probably inflated - we live and learn! It’s a 20-minute taxi into central Dublin from the hotel and taxis aren’t cheap so I don’t think we saved anything being that far out. The hotel is big, the beds and bedding were comfortable but we found food under our beds from previous guests, and bottles and glasses from when we checked in on Thursday were still in our room when we checked out on Sunday. We got new towels which were big and fluffy (with the exception of 1) every day even when we hung up ones we were happy to reuse but a wet bath mat was left sitting on the end of the bath. Windows were more sound-proof than internal doors and black out curtains would’ve been really effective if we weren’t listening to doors creaking (ask for higher number rooms eg not *01 nearest the lifts). Staff were friendly although the check-in/check-out process means there is little need to interact with anyone. Your room key gives you access to floors and lifts so all very secure. Liffey Valley shopping centre is 15-minutes walk away, or a short drive if you’re lucky enough to get parking.

Nog worthy of tbe star rating it has. Noisy only a quick surface clean if lucky and fresh towels. Did not ise health suite was put off by the loud music blaring from that building. So loud I could hear it from my room at the opposite side.

The pool facilities are honestly shocking. The worst I have ever seen. Rotting wood, lockers missing doors, floors filthy. Lifeguards we're rude and shouty at guests yet fine with their friends (they knew each other's names) coming straight from the sauna and diving into the pool. Another man was exfoliating poolside. The whole experience was gross. The hotel itself was passable lobby area is modern but the rooms were dated. 260 quid per night plus parking. I won't be back.

Our bedroom was dusty and with a faulty light, you can hear all of the noise from the other bedrooms the body wash provided was not enough for 3 days for 2 people the tv wasn’t working properly and the property itself can’t be 4 stars hotel, very tiny pool with bathroom and shower facilities broken and dirty. The staff is amazing!
