Needs to be cleaner. People had written things in the dust in our room. AND dated the dust …4/2025 soooo. Bathroom wasn’t very clean and the carpets definitely had not been vacuumed. I usually love an historic B&B but wouldn’t recommend this one. The staff were very nice but the lack of cleanliness was a deal breaker for us.

Room was Way too hot!

We were only staying one night. However, the temperature in the room was a hot 75 degrees. I called the number given for service and no one responded. I waited 30 minutes and we ended up leaving just before midnight. There was no way that I could sleep in a room that warm. I called the hotel this morning to speak with someone hoping to get a refund/partial refund and got a voice message. I would not stay there again.

The property and our room were both beautiful. The parking situation was confusing as the website said street parking was free and in lot parking was for a fee. We parked on the street because because the lot was full. The lot attendant and the front desk staff both told us we would get ticketed for street parking at $50. The room was warm and the jet tub was clean. The room could have used some cleaning under the bed and vacuuming. We were provided conditioner, body wash and lotion, no shampoo or soap. The location was great, nearby many things.

Beautiful property, the antique touch throughout the building along with its history’s makes for an unforgettable stay. We stayed in the queen room with a private jacuzzi and it was lovely. Breakfast was also provided with bagels, muffin assortments, fresh fruit, cereal, and yogurt is provided which was perfect for us. Staff was friendly and very helpful in every way we will definitely be back to stay again!

Had a lovely weekend stay at the Inn. The building was gorgeous and our rooms were great. The bathroom and shower were large and spacious as well. I would certainly stay here again the next time I visit Detroit!

Wonderful Place

What a fantastic place to stay! From the beautiful decor and clean rooms, to the super friendly staff and lovely kitchen, it was all very nice. We came for the football game and it was only a short 5 minute walk to Ford Field. We will certainly be back. Thank you.

This Inn has charm and great location. The building is a great example for restoration of a historic building, especially the main floor areas and stairwell to 2nd and 3rd floor. The location to Little Caesars Arena is excellent and walkable to downtown locations. Our room was big and roomy. However the rug was dirty, the blinds in the window were broken, the vanity in the bath room had 1 of 4 lights working. The room looked a little rough compared to the attention to detail they gave the first floor room sitting areas. I would probably stay again but would hope the room didn't look so run down

The location was fantastic in relation to Little Caesars Arena. Loved the uniqueness of the building. The size of the room was huge. I would definitely stay again. Some ways to improve would to be to have a douvet, rather than a quilt. Also, the pillows were not the best quality and mattresses could use an update. The breakfast was okay. Just bagles, muffins, fruit and yogurt. It could be improved. I would definitely come back for the location and uniqueness of the building.
